May 18, 2018- New Silicon Valley Offshore Incubator (Launching Pad) and California Clean Energy Fund /New Energy Nexus signed an official cooperation agreement. Dr. Cindy Cui, President of Launching Pad; Danny Kennedy, Managing Director of California Clean Energy Fund (CalCEF); Hendrik Tiesinga, New Energy Nexus Program Manager; Ken Alston, Investment Manager of CalCEF; Newell Arnerich, Mayor of Danville City, California; Zhang Xiaofeng, Executive Director of the US-China Green Energy Council; Shi Zuoyu, director of the Silicon Valley Office of the Tsinghua Dongguan Innovation Center and team members of Launching Pad attended the meeting and witnessed the signing of the formal cooperation agreement.
Launching Pad will work as the execution team of the California State Government and the California Energy Agency to help build low-carbon innovation centers with the relevant cities and provinces of China. By the signing of this collaboration agreement, the two parties will Jointly integrate relevant resources to promote U.S.-China project cooperation in the field of low-carbon clean energy and help build a California-China low-carbon innovation demonstration zone.
The two sides have recently started close cooperation on the establishment of the California-Jiangsu Low Carbon Innovation Center, and plans to organize relevant experts and companies in the field of low-carbon clean energy in California to visit China in mid-June of this year to implement related projects.
