On October 25, 2017, Dr. Cindy Cui, Chairman of Silicon Valley Global; Jian Xu, CEO of OlymBuilder Investment and Dr. Bo Ding, Executive Director of Silicon Global China office visited the National Economic and Technological Development Zone of Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
Mr. Xuesheng Li, Deputy Secretary of the party committee of Zhengzhou Economic Development Zone and Standing Deputy Director of the administrative office, along with the leaders of District Bureau of Commerce, Science and Technology Bureau and representatives from high-tech enterprise warmly welcomed the delegations. During the meeting, the two sides conducted friendly exchanges and confirmed on their future strategic cooperation.
Mr. Li introduced the geographical location, industrial structure, future development planning, investment environment and related policies of the Economic Development Zone in Zhengzhou.
Zhengzhou Economic Development Zone located in the southeast of Zhengzhou City, covering an area of ??158.7 square kilometers. The resident and employed population in the zone is approximately 380,000. The region has established the key leading industries for automobile, equipment manufacturing and modern logistics as well as major provincial and municipal open platforms for international harbor, and cross-border trade and e-commerce.
Dr. Cui introduced the work of Silicon Valley Global and New Silicon Valley Offshore Incubator has been doing. Secretary Li said he was impressed by the achievements the rwo platforms have made in the past two years and pointed out that Zhengzhou, as an important hub city of the strategic layout of the "One Belt, One Road" strategy, would welcome the high-end technologies and talents from overseas, especially the United States, to take root in the area. Dr. Cui then shared a series of high-end technologies from Stanford Research International Institute (SRI), one of the partners of Silicon Valley Global, and invited the Economic Development Zone of Zhengzhou to set up an overseas office at the New Silicon Valley Offshore Incubator. The proposal was unanimously approved by the participating leaders.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the enterprises resided in economic zone. Dr. Cui highly praised the operation of the Science and Technology Innovation platform for international students and the Cross-border e-commerce platform in the zone. She earnestly hoped that both parties could work together as a bridgehead for business, trade and cultural and talent exchange between China and the United States in the future to jointly promote regional economic and cultural development.
