On October 16th, 2017, Ms. Fan Dai, Special Advisor to China for Governor Jerry Brown, California, Alana Sanchez, International Relations Senior Advisor of California Energy Commission and Michael Murza, Law and Policy Advisor of California Energy Commission visited the New Silicon Valley Offshore Incubator, and had a detail discussion with Zengdi Cui, CEO of Silicon Valley Global, and her team on the cooperation between China and California in energy projects, plans for building California-China Center, and the plans for ‘One Belt One Road’ Office set-up in California. Dr. Cui along with her team gave an in-depth introduction of Silicon Valley Global and New Silicon Valley Offshore Incubator, and briefed the short-term accomplishment achieved as well as the developmental planning of both platforms to the delegates. Ms. Fan Dai highly recognized the two platforms, and expressed that as coinciding with the close development of China-U.S. relations, Silicon Valley Global and New Silicon Valley Offshore Incubator will build a firmer bridge for the partnership building between China and U.S., especially for the ‘One Belt One Road’ policy. She believes that the two platforms will be more closely benefiting for the Chinese and American enterprises, government and all walks of life.
In the meeting, both sides had an in-depth discussion in the following cooperative contents:
1.California Energy Commission will seek for energy-oriented projects that are suitable for both sides, and will strive to promote the development of environmental energy between the two countries.
2. Silicon Valley Global will join the trip to China with the California government delegation in November of this year to explore the areas of win-win cooperation and join the way to make positive contribution to the development of ‘One Belt One Road’.
The meeting of Silicon Valley Global and Ms. Fan Dai from California Government reached a high degree of consensus, and they promised that they will actively communicate with each other for the specific prospective cooperation. In addition, both sides promised to make their positive contribution to the strategic development of ‘One Belt One Road’ and mutual and friendly cooperation in environmental energy.
