May 12, 2018-The New Silicon Valley Offshore Incubator (Launching Pad) received a delegation from Baoding led by the Executive Vice Mayor. Dr. Cindy Cui, Chairman of Launching Pad, Mayor of Danville City, Mayor of Dublin, and the Founder of Tri-Valley Ventures, Associate Dean of Beijing Collaborative Innovation Research Institute, Founder of R2.AI Company, and Business Development Manager of Techcode all attended the reception and witnessed the grand opening of “Baoding Overseas Talents Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center”at Launching Pad.

Dr. Cui delivered welcoming remarks. She said the two-way incubation and joint office base established by the Baoding Development and Reform Commission and Launching Pad will bring together various resources from Silicon Valley to introduce the projects of interest to Baoding. Mr. Li Junling, the Executive Vice Mayor of Baoding, also mentioned in his speech that he was very pleased to see the achievements made so far since the collaboration. He hoped that through the cooperation of both parties, the introduction of high-end talents, advanced technology, innovative ideas, and investments will enhance the close contact and integration of the city's "Electric Valley" with the Silicon Valley in California, U.S.

The Mayor of Danville and the Mayor of Dublin also delivered speeches at the meeting. They hope Baoding could enhance collaboration with their cities in the near future.
